"Mind the Abyss" is a first person, fast paced movement shooter that combines unique fourth-dimensional abilities and ever-evolving weaponry within an alien planet. Taking inspiration from games like Titanfall and Risk of Rain, players will unravel a deep-rooted mystery while blasting their way through the abyss.

Producer

Vision

Discussing and communicating what the game will look, feel, and sound like. This involves having a fleshed out vision of what Mind the Abyss is through documentation after meetings.

Team

Managing a team of over 50 people. The best team members must be chosen for their individual talents to create a cohesive, organized, and stress free environment.

SCRUM

Responsible for Sprint planning in person as well as using the management software Trello, standup, sprint reviews at each meeting, and sprint retrospectives.

Direction

Leading meetings and working with individuals to create understanding and even utilizing mentorship to create a better product with more specified understanding.

Narrative Lead

Story

Directed the central storyline of Mind the Abyss and why the characters are not only in the situation that they are, but what they must do to fix it.

World and Culture

Worked with the narrative team to build a world that humans live within. This includes how the culture operates and why they are on Prometheus.

Management

Directed individuals on the narrative team to create individual portions of the story as well as meeting to discuss and approve these things.

UI Design

HUD

Creation of all in game HUD that the player may need to navigate the world of Mind the Abyss with a sleek and futuristic design.

Menus

Created all menus within Mind the Abyss including pause menus, instructional menus, option menus and more.

Music

Created all music in Mind the Abyss and in promotional material. This included working with the development team to create effective loops.

Sound

Worked with sound designers to create the best sounds for the game while working in programs such as Protools.
